Board Of Directors Meeting
Location: The Clubhouse or online
Time: 6pm
Description:
Meeting Decorum and Protocol
Regular Board Meeting
3.8 Owner Participation In Board Meetings. Meetings of the Board of Directors at which a majority of the members of the Board are present shall be open to all unit owners. The right to attend such meetings includes the right to speak with reference to all designated agenda items; provided, however, the Board may adopt reasonable rules governing the frequency, duration, and manner of unit owner statements. Unless otherwise provided by the Board. each unit owner is
entitled to speak for three minutes with reference to designated agenda items. The owners may only speak on New?Old Business and not on reports. Board meetings subject to the attorney-client privilege shall not be subject to unit owner observation.
Our meeting protocol for speaking at a meeting which has been in place for some time is as follows:
* Sign up before the meeting to speak on a listed agenda item
* The president will recognize those who signed up after the board has its' discussion on the agenda item
* The owner will have up to 3 minutes to make their statement.
* Owners online who wish to speak may do so by typing their name, unit number and item they wish to speak on in the comment section of GoTo before the start of the meeting.
During town hall meetings the floor is open for all discussion as long as the meeting is productive. Town meeting discussions helps the board to formulate an agenda for upcoming meetings due to some concerns that need clarification or action. I highly encourage owner to attend both meetings and be informed about our community.
